Description
Intricately decorated 19th century gun powder flask. Made in India for the Mughal Empire in the early to mid 19th century. It has an interesting screw top with a Lion’s head with an open mouth. The screw that goes deep and securely has 11 revolutions to open. The container has a chain on either side of the neck. It is inscribed throughout. It measures 8 inches long x 4 ¼ inches wide.
