Hawaiian Warrior by Jerry Crusat Kona Hawaii Milo Wood
This sculpture is of an early Hawaiian Warrior. It is signed on the bottom “100 hours Milo Wood Jerry Crusat made 12/1977 for my family, in ink, then incised to Mr. Jilek Dec 1982.” He holds a shark tooth club and wears a piece of tapa cloth and wears a gourd helmet. Please look at the photos of inside the helmet, there is gobs of glue showing on top of his head. He also is holding twisted fiber cordage. It stands 18 inches tall and weighs 4 ½ lbs.
