Paul Lidwig Binkert Canadian Artist Mid Century Bronze Sculpture of Owl
Lots of character on this friendly bronze Owl. It is signed P. L. Binkert for Paul Ludwig Binkert born 1908 – 1995. He was born in Germany, lived in Vancouver BC Canada. It is stamped on the underneath of the tail in block letters. There is some red cold paint on the tips of the tail. Circa 1960 it is made from bronze, cast and hand worked. The eyes are blackened, there is lots of beading around his face. The talon claws are very realistic. It stands 6 ¾ inches tall x 5 inches wide and 7 inches deep.
