This piece came from a retired professor’s collection in Vancouver. It is a hardwood possibly teak antique panel, it looks like a latch, possibly from a chariot or temple. It has intertwined braided carved wood, with the head of a snake. It has a faint signature in script on the head. It is carved on both sides. It looks like it interconnected, and would swing open, the fit into square dowel. Most piece from the collection came from India. It has a dark color, good patina, circa 1900. Priced in USD, payment with PayPal is preferred.
