Sioux Nation Quill Work Lady’s Shoe by Liard Schober

These are a pair of 19th century lady’s shoes, made by Liard Schober Mitchell Shoes in Philadelphia. Circa 1870 -90. They have an impressed stamp at the bottom of the shoe sole.  Rare  Quill decoration, hand sewn by the tribal Sioux Nation. They measure about 9 inches long x 2 ½ inches wide.
