This box is not for export. It is made from Buffalo horn, ivory and wood. Circa 1840 it is a tea caddy, for the European English taste, by highly skilled craftsmen from India, Vizagapatam. It is made from water buffalo horn, scrimshaw ivory. Made for holding and mixing tea leaves. It measures 14 inches long x 8 inches wide and stands 9 inches tall. NOT for export.
