PAIR Ancestral Fertility Guardian Figures Hardwood Statues
From an Estate Sale of a discerning collector and artist. Similar to figures carved in Indonesia, Timor, Dayak or Asmat. This pair of female and male figures are carved out of hardwood, they are very heavy, they have a nice patina and good look and feel. These Ethnic old sacred figures were collected in the 1970’s – 80’s, they were made in the early 1900’s. The male measure 18 inches, the female measures 17 inches. Some checking cracks in the wood.
