Northwest Coast Native Totemic Sheep Horn Ladle Spoon
This is a fine example of Northern British Columbia, Southern Alaska traditional Native American West Coast Spoon. It is a beautiful example of art form and function. Made from transparent this golden sheep horn, it has a deep incised scrimshaw engraving of animal and human forms. It has a figure on top, all caved from one piece. This piece circa 1900 measures 12 inches long x 4 inches wide. It sits on a metal display stand.
