English Newhall 18th Century TEAPOT Hand Painted Fluted Silver Shape

Circa 1780 – 1810 this is a molded hard paste porcelain made in England attributed to Newhall Potteries. The shape is fluted and curved inspired by the silversmith teapot of the time period. It is had painted with a basket with a bounty full of flowers. It has a wiggle dot border decoration. The lid has a steam hole that goes through right down the center. The body of this teapot is perfect, the lid has a chip and the finial has been restored. It measures 6 inches tall x 9 ½ from spout to handle. It has a painted number on the base No 171.
