Plateau Beaded Cuffs Native American First Nations Bead Work
These are a pair of original Native American made beaded cuffs circa 1920. They are in the style of the Plateau Area of North America, Washington, British Columbia possibly Nez Perce. The colored beads are sewn in contour lines, the white beads are sewn straight. There are asymmetrical abstract design of flowers and butterflies. There is a branch with different flowers, tulips, rose, and not sure the other two.
It is sewn with a cloth background with the stitches showing. It is worn on the inside. The beads are well worn and missing throughout. Please view the photographs.
When open it measures 12 inches wide x 7 inches long.
